We were also involved in the purchase and restoration of Killahara Castle ( www.killaharacastle.com ) and have worked on some of Ireland's most prestigious projects such as The Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle, Roscrea Castle, Ferns Castle and numerous other castles and churches throughout the country including bridge repairs.
We offer a full range of repointing stonework and brickwork including flush pointing, tuck pointing, Irish wigging and weather struck pointing.
We offer a full range of stone masonry such as stone facades, boundary walls and architectural stone cladding.Stone cutting of arches, stone columns ,corner stones ,etc . Dry stone walling, ashlar stonework, random rubble, coarsed rubble. We work with all types of stone such as Granite, Sandstone, Limestone, etc.
At Heritage Masonry, we offer a full conservation cleaning service for stone, brick, building facades. We use the Doff cleaning system for the cleaning of stone, brick and more. Doff is a steam based stone cleaning system which can achieve temperatures of up to 150 degrees celsius at the nozzle end making it a super-heated water system, which causes no harm to the structure but gives a finish clean. Doff can be used on paint coatings, graffiti, bird or vermin fouling, algae, moss & fungi, bitumen, oil, grease and many others, all without causing any damage, or disfiguring the substrate.
